The VANNABED frame is a lightweight, foldable structure designed to fit inside a car Volkswagen Transporter. When unfolded, we obtain a comfortable bed.
When the frame is slid down, 5 people can travel comfortably in the car.
The folded frame is located in the luggage area. One part on four legs and the other sliding on two legs.
When the second-row seats are folded down, we move one part of the bed in the direction of travel.
The laid back chairs are not flat! Yes we know this, the frame is adapted to this and when unfolded and the bed will give us a flat surface.

Under the VANNABED full-length bed top you will find 3 steel profiles (2 cm x 2 cm). The profiles are powder-coated, mounted between each pair of legs, they increase the strength of the frame up to hundreds of kilograms. We separate them from the top with felt so they don't rattle while you're driving 🙂 .
The construction uses waterproof, dense plywood, coated with a black phenolic film - durable and resistant to damage.
The steel and edges of the frame have been covered with felt to protect the car interior from scratches.
