Refund and Returns Policy

Overview

This policy applies to purchases made by consumers within the European Union.

In accordance with EU consumer law, customers have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days of delivery, unless an exception applies. Additionally, we offer an extended 30-day return period only for products that are not manufactured to order, as described below.

Made-to-order and custom-made products

Most of our products are manufactured only after an order is placed.

Made-to-order and custom-made products include all products that are produced after purchase, even if they are presented and described on the website prior to ordering.

In accordance with Article 16(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU, products manufactured to order or according to customer specifications are not eligible for return or refund.

An exception applies if the product:

  • was manufactured not in accordance with the agreed specifications, or
  • is defective.

Standard products

If a product is explicitly marked as a standard (non-made-to-order) product, it may be returned within 30 days from the date of delivery.

To be eligible for a return, the product must be unused, in the same condition as received, and returned in its original packaging. Proof of purchase is required.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you by email of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, the refund will be issued to the original method of payment within a reasonable number of business days.

Late or missing refunds

If you have not received your refund:

  • check your bank account,
  • contact your card provider,
  • contact your bank.

Sale items

Sale items are non-refundable, except where the right of withdrawal applies under EU consumer law.

Exchanges

We replace products only if they are defective or damaged. To request an exchange, contact us at jannick@vannabed.com.

Shipping returns and costs

The cost of returning a product is borne by the customer.

If the product is defective or not in accordance with the agreed specifications, the return shipping cost will be covered by the seller.

Shipping costs are non-refundable. We recommend using a trackable shipping service. We are not responsible for lost return shipments.
